Overview

The Equal Opportunity Cell at Don Bosco College (Co-ed), Yelagiri Hills, is committed to promoting inclusivity, equality, and empowerment for all students. The cell ensures that every student has access to opportunities regardless of their background, gender, or socio-economic status.

Objectives

Introduction

Discrimination against individuals based on disability, physical limitations, or minority status is a violation of fundamental human rights and equality. To uphold these principles and constitutional obligations, Don Bosco College established an Equal Opportunity Cell in June 2017. Following the 'Guidelines for Scheme of Equal Opportunity Centre for Colleges XII Plan (2012-2017),' the Cell addresses concerns of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class, and Persons with Disabilities.

Aim

The Equal Opportunity Cell strives to create an inclusive and harmonious environment where all students and faculty, regardless of background, community, religion, region, gender, or ability, have equal access to opportunities and rights.
